CHARLEY SWORDS

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Formerly Managing Director of Swords Consultancy and The Biz Clinic - which are now merged into Peak Fifteen Consultancy - Charley is a management consultant, trainer and coach with over 25 years experience in banking and business to directorship level in blue chip organisations.

Her experience includes projects and programmes for blue-chip companies throughout the western world, Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa with a particular onus on business planning and implementation, process diagnostics, training and development.

Charley specialises in business and financial evaluation and planning, business restructuring, marketing, sales, customer care,  owner/manager coaching and in facilitating education and development programmes - both in-company and through open courses for individual business owners.

Her corporate and SME clients to date have benefited from her focused and pragmatic approach, which is very much people- driven and which has enabled them to achieve challenging and stretching objectives resulting in strong growth and development in their businesses.

 

DES BODLEY


Des has over 40 years of international banking, corporate and SME consultancy experience in Ireland, the UK, Asia, Russia and Eastern Europe.

A former Deputy General Manager with Bank of Ireland, he has an excellent knowledge of both retail and corporate banking, dealing largely with multinational clients.

Following his banking career, Des became CEO of a small business, manufacturing and exporting its products to different parts of the world in the mid 1990s. Arising from this, he has a thorough knowledge of the issues and challenges relating to management of small businesses.

His key areas of specialisation are strategic/business planning, business development and financial structuring and developing customised training and development programmes and workshops.


TOM O ROURKE


Tom has wide experience of Production and Operations Management in a number of high profile companies including Jacob Fruitfield, Nestle Ireland and Bachelors Foods.

His input has helped improve profitability by increasing productivity through team work, continual improvement programmes, contract development and negotiation and implementing quality standards in the workplace using ISO9002, BRC, 5's and WCM.

Tom also boasts a high degree of expertise in Project Management, Personal Development and Outsourcing of Non-Critical Operating Departments.

 

 

 

ADINO MC DONNELL


Adino has worked for 30 years predominantly in the areas of Accounting, Finance and Management Information Projects.

She has a strong reputation in the area of bookkeeping and management accounting for our client companies in the Manufacturing, Service and Professional industries.

 

 

 

 

 

DEIRDRE O CONNOR


Deirdre has over 20 years experience in banking and 10 years in SME book-keeping, financial and regulatory reporting across a broad range of sectors.

She brings new meaning to the term forensic book-keeping, which has yielded very positive results for all clients and covers a broad spectrum from financial process evaluation, management accounting, regulatory reporting through to book-keeping - both on and off-site - and procedure development and implementation.

 

 

 

 

PAUL GURHY


Paul Gurhy is a respected senior business professional with over 30 years’ experience gained with a number of major financial services organisations in Ireland.  During his career, Paul has held a range of senior management roles primarily in the areas of Product Management, Sales & Marketing and Change Management with responsibility for developing strategic business objectives through to the planning and execution of product, channel & segment marketing activity.

Paul now works independently with clients in the areas of Product Management, Marketing & Regulatory Compliance projects. His qualifications include - BSc in Financial Information Systems, Professional Banking Diploma and a Graduateship in Marketing.  



 

 

REAVIS HILZ WARD


Reavis Hilz-Ward is a highly experienced business leader, trainer and coach with many years of international experience.

She currently coaches and trains Board Members and Top Managers of leading financial service companies in Europe and the US, and regularly teaches at German Universities and Corporate Universities.

Ms. Hilz-Ward has worked in Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa and speaks four languages.


 

 

BRIAN CLOUGH


Brian has over 30 years experience in heavy plan equipment and large road transportation. Recently he moved into the area of Quality Assurance and having completed the FAS Quality Assurance course he is skilled in QA techniques and procedures.

He has worked with the HSE in the Procurement Department at Cork University Hospital with significant results.
